~*~ What Can Be Better Question Than Asma (RA)'s One... ~*~

Sayedah Asma's (Radi Allahu anha) interview with our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).

Asma (Radi Allahu anha) Bint Yazid Ansari came to our beloved Prophet Sayedina Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) and said:

" O Prophet of Allah! You are dearer to me than my parents.
The Muslim women have chosen me as their Representative to talk to you on their behalf. Verily you are the Prophet of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) for both men and women.
We stay for most part of our time within the four walls of our houses. We remain pinned to our duties of fulfilling our men, bearing children for them and looking after their homes, not withstanding all this, men excel us in getting rewards for things which we are unable to do.
They go and pray their daily Salaat and weekly Jummah in the Masajid, visit the sick, attend the funerals, perform Hajj after Hajj and, above all fight in the way of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala). When they go for Hajj or Jihad, we look after their property, bring up their children and weave cloth for them. do not we share their rewards with them?"

Our Beloved Prophet Sayedina Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) addressing the Sahabah sitting around them said:
" Did you ever hear a woman asking a better question?"

The sahabah (Radi Allahu anhu) replied:
" O Prophet of Almighty Allah! We never thought that a woman could ever put such a question."

Our Beloved Prophet Sayedina Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) addressing Asma (Radi Allahu anha)said:
" Listen attentively, and then go and tell the ladies who have sent you that when a woman seeks the pleasure of her husband and carries out her domestic functions to his satisfaction, she gets the same reward as the men get for all their services to Allah [i](Subhanahu wa Ta'ala)
."

Asma (Radi Allahu anha) returned very happily after getting this reply to her question.
Obedience and good behavior towards husbands is a very great asset for the women, provided they know its value.
To serve our husbands and be happy when they go out to work and earn their living and go to prayers and religious functions, wives should appreciate and not moan, as that is a form of ibbadah and pleasing Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) and Almighty Allah recognizes wives sacrifices and returns them with equal rewards as the men.
